Lodging
| Lodging is the main reason for the early publishing of this website. As an innkeeper, Olga has noticed that rooms in her inn are beginning to fill up for the weekend of our wedding, an occurrence which lead us to believe the same may be happening with other hotels in the area. So we urge you to plan ahead, as crazy as it may sound in the middle of February. |
| Accommodations Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce publishes an excellent area guide called the Jewel of the Maine Coast. You can view it as a PDF here, in particular pages 93 and 94 have a very convenient listing of all the local inns, hotels, motels and B&Bs with a comparison chart of amenities, prices, etc. Individual listings with websites for each inn can also be found on Chamber's website. We'd love to be able to recommend places, but we honestly have never stayed in any of them ourselves. We can definitely help you with distance to our home, or to downtown Camden - give us a call. |

Camping We are extremely fortunate to have the Camden Hills State Park in our backyard. In addition to beautiful hikes of various difficulties, there is the Mount Battie Auto-road, a short drive up to a gorgeous expansive view of the Penobscot Bay, its many islands and old wooden sailboats. You can find information about the park and its campground here. Other, private campgrounds and RV parks are listed in the Jewel on page 101 and on the Chamber of Commerce website. |
